Cochrane Pregnacy & Childbirth…what’s new

Cochrane Pregnancy and Childbirth is making the results of reviews more accessible by creating ‘visual summaries’ of the following topics:

  • ‘Turning babies’ relates to their review on External cephalic version for breech presentation at term
  • ‘Turning babies before 37 weeks’ relates to their review on External cephalic version for breech presentation before term
  • Planned caesarean section for twin pregnancies relates to their review on Planned caesarean section for women with a twin pregnancy
  • Specialised antenatal clinics for women for mums of twins, triplets or more relates to their review on Specialised antenatal clinics for women with a multiple pregnancy for improving maternal and infant outcomes
  • Induction of labour for big babies relates to their review on ‘Induction of labour at or near term for suspected fetal macrosomia
